Ingredients :


• 10 g butter
• 1 onion
• 1 shallot
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
• 60 g oatmeal
• 1 large potato
• 400 mL vegetable broth
• 250 mL milk
• Salt and pepper

Instructions :

• Peel the onion, shallot and garlic and chop.
• Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the onion and shallot and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
• Add the garlic and cumin and cook for 2 more minutes.
• Add the broth and bring to a boil.
• Stir in the oats, washed, peeled and chopped potato, milk, salt and pepper.
• Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until oats are tender.
• Stir to obtain a smooth texture and then serve.
